FROM ZOOM MEETING - WCLO GAME RULES (UPDATE LETTER)
For Immediate Release
Many of you were on the informational zoom with us Monday night and we appreciate you taking the time to join us. For those of you who were not able to attend we wanted to share an update about the game requirements with you for the 2023 season.
As you know there is an 8 game requirement. For the 2023 season, the WCLO will be allowing its teams to play a schedule with 60% WCLO opponents and 40% WCLA opponents of the same division. This means in an 8 game schedule, as long as you have played your regional games, you may play 3 games in your division from the WCLA.
Those games outside of the WCLO will count for your game requirements and will factor in for your rankings. This will be accounted for when ranking teams during this transition year. If your teams plays more than 8 games, you may play more WCLA teams, as long as the balance remains 60% WCLO and 40% WCLA.
We hope this will help ease the transition for many of you who are wanting to play specific teams or at specific events this upcoming season.
If you have any additional questions, please reach out to us.
